Centrifuges are dynamic equipment and are used in highly dangerous environments. Therefore, centrifuge operation and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with specifications to ensure the safety of their use.
◆ Centrifuge safety managers should receive relevant professional technical training and have professional knowledge in safe operation and preventive measures.
◆ Centrifuge operators should receive centrifuge operation and maintenance training and master the operation and use techniques of centrifuges. Strictly follow the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer to correctly use and maintain the machine.
◆ Centrifuges should be inspected regularly to ensure that the functions, important parts and safety protection devices of the centrifuge are in normal working condition. In particular, the drum, scraper, cloth and other parts should be inspected at least once a month to confirm whether their fastening status, corrosion status, welding parts and surface anti-corrosion coating are in normal condition, and keep good inspection records.
◆ Centrifuges should formulate small, medium and major repair cycles and strictly implement them.
◆Operators are not allowed to operate the centrifuge in a rough manner (such as: overspeeding or overloading the centrifuge; shoveling materials with a shovel during high-speed rotation, overloading; starting the machine when the safety lock pin is not locked or not fully locked; not enabling safety prohibition measures during maintenance, etc.) or modifying the machine privately (such as: removing vibration protection, opening cover protection, etc.).
◆Operators should take necessary measures (such as emergency stop, etc.) after discovering abnormal conditions, and restart the machine only after confirming safety.
◆Necessary safety precautions (maintenance signs, power locks, safety lock pins, etc.) should be taken during adjustment, maintenance (such as filter screens, filter cloths, etc.) or troubleshooting.
◆When rotating parts such as the centrifuge drum, main shaft, and other important parts are corroded, worn, or the centrifuge vibrates abnormally, they should be replaced or repaired in a timely manner, and unsafe emergency measures such as surface repair welding should not be adopted.
◆The integrity of the centrifuge should be ensured, and it is not allowed to dismantle, change parts/components, or add or reduce accessories without the consent of the machine manufacturer.
